JKS provides trainings in a manner most consistent with the skill levels of trainees and their purposes. By promoting lifetime karate training, we hope that karate would appeal to persons of all ages and would eventually be beneficial to our society.
JKS Benelux believes transparency, cooperation and keeping traditions, can be an assembling force within the world of karate. JKS wants to give power to grow and develop in a physical and spiritual way in which karate is practiced. We would like you to join us in this mission and make a difference.
JKS Benelux and its goals
We want to teach and expand the traditional shotokan karate like it is being taught at JKS Honbu Dojo in Japan.
We are keeping our one-to-one-relations with Japan and make it our priority to keep developing this network.
We want to be a federation who stands up for its members in a fair and democratic way. This we want to do by giving the best instruction through exchange of karate knowledge and skills. The exchanging and sharing of this expertise is created by JKS relations but also by relations from other styles and traditions.
We want to provide in all levels of karate which are registered in Japan. Members of JKS should be given the opportunity to become JKS instructor, examiner or judge. “The individual” at JKS, like members but also the instructors, should be able to reach their personal goals in karate.
